Heart Chains - There's always a hook...

Hello Max,
When I first looked at the image I didn't know what to think. In fact it took a few views. This alone is worth it's weight in gold the image held my attention for quite a while. The compostion is well done, the heart and then the hook on top. The color scheme (blue) works well here. The heart symbolizing the up side aspect, The color with hook symbolizing the down side. The only thing here that is a distraction is the brightness of the light. With that being said It works here again because of the heart, the light being the warmth of the heart. Well done max.

There is nothing here to get excited about. The image just looks flat. There is way to much grain, the background is also very distracting. The composition is weak (maybe a second link or on an angle) would have helped. The glare on the bottom link is a distraction and the framing is nada. It seem's as tho you just rushed out did a point and shoot for the challange.

Nice image, the composition is well done the framing also is good with one minor exception. I would have liked to have seen a little more room given at the bottom of the frame that last chain link needed just a wee bit of room. The elbow area needs a bit of sharpening.

I do not like he compostion here. To busy, my eye wonders all over the place. The white rope, the boat, the post & chain. There is way to much cloud seen here, cropping just above the boats mast would have been just right. The water also has been burned to much (obvious). Perhaps a different angle or possibly depth of field blurring the boat would have helped here.

Nice image. The comp is well done & your toneal rangers are excellent. Two things here do need addressing. His right hand seems a bit washed by refection of light, & there is something missing. Mood or expression just seems image is to clean.

Very nice & interesting image. The shadow coming down his right side is a little disconcearning. His leg (closest to window) is a wee bit to dark for me. That being said wonderful image.
