Very bright midday sun, not very flattering as it causes harsh shadows. Also, looks very "snapshot", not composed and thought out.

Whites are blown, light is harsh, no detail in the dark areas. A more even lighting and perhaps fill-flash would have corrected those problems. That being said... this image still does not say "Family" - only laundry.

Exposed being the key phrase here - or uhmmm over-exposed. The bright lighting is distracting from what seems to be a very touching image. Still doesn't really say "family", but does speak of love.

Very sweet composition and lovely family story, though its painfully over-lighted. The skin tones are blown on each subject. I would suggest a reshoot with softer light as I'm sure this family would cherish it forever.
