That's a great contrast between the two. The light is also great, only the main subjects are not in the shadow. I love how the shadow divides the two stories/emotions from each other. Pretty Jagarish (this word should be in dictionaries already :)

I remember going for a field trip to Auschwitz (Oświęcim) once, when I was 11. I never went back because my first experience was so sad. This picture brings a lot of emotions, especially that both my grandparents were in the army during WWII. I don't even know what to say about the picture right now because it's definitely too emotional to me. Thanks for taking it though.

I really love it! The guy looks super happy/optimistic. Good composition. Nice crowd of younger people behind him (man I need to start working out). The blurry background and your choice of b&w made it even better. Nice!
