1fd0673f.jpgby stare_at_the_sunComment: Not sure where this is, but it's the kind of photo that makes me want to know the story behind it - and that's a good thing. The menacing swirl to the clouds and the placement of the sign go together well. |

PICT0436.JPGby stare_at_the_sunComment: This is really lovely. It looks like the front of a greeting card. Your colors are nice and rich, the composition is appealing and balanced, and the subject is peaceful. |

Whirlwind Passion (Floral)by NeilComment: This is awesome. I am very surprised at how low this placed in the challenge, though. The whole thing, from colors, to crop/composition, exposure and effect....all work perfectly together imo. |

Religionby danderson107Comment: I like the compositions, but I also wish the book cover had more impact in the photo. |

Auraby grandmarginalComment: I like the dof and composition / angle you've chosen for this shot. I do find your copyright to be distracting in its location, however. Effective gradient of the sky. Nice photo. |

kaylaby crystaldmComment: Nice, bright, cheerful portrait! I like this one the best of your portfolio shots so far because I think the exposure and lighting are best. Some of your other shots appear dark to me. Just a little boost in contrast and/or brightness in some editing software will do wonders!
I also like the yellow flower, because I love the way the out of focus background looks. Almost like green sparkles. Welcome to DPC! |

tiredby bimbleComment: Finally...someone that GOT it. I'm just rushing through the thumbnails, but I'm glad to see at least someone who understood it the same way I did.
Nice exposure on this as well and composition. It does, indeed, look "tired", with the wear and tear both in the surroundings and the the wear on the bike. I think you did a good job. I hope you score well. |
