This one has a lot of potential, but seems just a little out of focus to my eye. The lighting is almost there, but drops off a little too much IMO on the left. Nice simple lines and good color.

This is pretty cool. Just a few lights to grab our attention, but I think it's the tones, the glass like water, and the leading lines the rocky shore make that come together in this shot.

Oh how lovely! Great in B/W, and the blur except for the face just brings you right to that lovely, natural looking expression. Great lighting makes this an above average portrait.

I love the naturalness of this shot. It doesn't appear overly processed like many of them on this site do. Just a nice soft feel and colors.

I'm not so sure about the composition. It appears a bit too centered or something. I think it's the horizontal line it produces doesn't appear natural to the plant. That's a minor thing though.

I can see why this is your highest rated. It's really a lovely classic still life. Beautiful lighting and colors. The only thing that distracts me a little is the shiny corkscrew in the bottom right corner. I know it goes with the bottle, but it doesn't fit in with the other textures and muted colors.
