This was actually given a slight filter effect that is more evident in a larger view. It is made to look more like a painting, which probably is the focus difference you are noting.

Oooh..Lovely shot. I would have expanded the shot more if you wanted to use that border. By that, I maean I would have pushed the border out further and perhaps had the portion of the photo outside the border to be slightly blurred or something. Just amatter of style and presentation choice. The photo itself I really like. It has a very simple, clean feel to it.

Yep...sometimes you just have to stop and take that shot. I have regretted many times being too lazy/rushed/cameraless or whatever and missing a good opportunity. This is a great night time shot and the moon and clouds add that extra something.

A fun shot. I'll be it's even more effective in a larger size. The colors and motion convey what a simple shot probably wouldn't have here.

This is very cool. I'm usually one who goes for less editing and more realistic photos, however this immediately caught my eye and I love the colors, subject and presentation.
