Hope you had the camera covered! Cool shot. I think it would have been better if you could have nailed the focus more and not blown out the whites near the center. However, this had to be a hard shot to get and I think you did well, and certainly many times better than I probably could! I wonder how many times they had to do this.

This photo stinks! (joking) I don't see how it could stink. Fine shot for what you wanted I think - the set-up, lighting and colors and focus are all very good. Fits the challenge well, but just not a really interesting subject to me.

The way this shot is done, the subject seems to be more the hand than the egg. The focus is right on for the skin bringing out the imperfections in the fingers and nails, which I think distracts from the egg a lot. The contrast between the hand and the dark backgroung also emphasizes the hand.

Too bad about cutting off the bell portion of the horn. I like this shot okay, although I wish the lighting was a little better. I find the strong shadows to be distracting. Looks like the focus is just a little off too.

Kind of interesting how the sun is shining off of the vertical portions on the right hand side. Nice perspective and technically well done, but not a subject that holds my interest.
