Rose of Fireby bobdaveantComment: Great color! For composition, I would prefer the center of the rose positioned more in the center of the frame - it seems crowded right above it. Other than that, a very nice shot that maybe isn't so original, but very pretty. |

Canine Beautyby ACheltonComment: Technically a nice shot....good exposure and sharpness. Certainly a nice looking dog, but IMO there's really nothing special or exciting about the photo. The lighting seems nice and even, but somewhat flat...no nice highlights or interest. I would also prefer the dog's head to be more in the right of the frame - a little less centered. He / she really looks like a nice companion, though, and I think it's a good fit for the challenge. Hopefully the "no pets no kids" crowd won't knock you too hard! |

Tucker Rose trinity...by taterbugComment: This is kind of cool. I like the effect and I like that you try different things with your photography. Might be interesting to have the back two versions be in b/w. |

Rock Crawler.jpgby Rachel34Comment: Very nice colors here and pretty flowers for the subject. I think I would prefer just a little less rock and a bit more dof for the flowers...maybe a slightly higher angle. Clarity is really good. |

nature's gems.JPGby Rachel34Comment: Gems is a good title for this photo. What a beautiful shot. I think the little sun flare adds a lot to the picture. Ice is sometimes hard to really capture it's beauty, but I think you've done a great job here. Nice angle and composition. |

Irritation — No-Shoot Zoneby Bear_MusicComment: Didn't comment on this during the challenge. I like this, as I think it effectively conveys what all photographers can relate to when someone doesn't want their photo taken! Technically, as a photo, it may be rather artsy/graphic to the feel, but I think it does help convey the mood. I think it was mostly underated in the challenge. |

Gitty-up.jpgby pumaComment: I think this is the one you requested a comment on. I almost did this one first. Nice clear shot. I wish you had pulled back a little more to get a feel for the horse's surroundings just a bit...and not cutting off the tail. This horse needs a little more room to roam I think. Now, a standing horse this close would be good imo. Just the movement of this one makes me feel like it needs more of the field, if that makes sense. |

Perfect puff.jpgby pumaComment: I did one of these for my PaD this month. My husband thought I was crazy for wanting to photograph a dandelion! :) This one is nice. I like the dof. I would prefer it without the other dandelion there I think. I would also like to see it just a bit sharper. Nice lighting on it. |

Cathedral_Rock.jpgby BAMartinComment: What a beautiful spot. I'm so glad there are still places like these around. I wonder how long they will be??? This is a nice time of day for the shot...rich colors, lively lighting, good textures. |
