I'm not sure if you're trying to show conflict of Nature vs Human, Nature vs Nature: survival of the fittest, or what. I do think this is a fantastic shot on it's own, striking, but in this challenge, sorry, not really. Perhaps if it is about the battle between nature and civilization, then less cropping would illustrate the point [showing surroundings or something, cause I can't see what you saw!]

I do like this shot quite a bit. I love the negative space and selective crop. I normally don't like sexual images in regards to military, but here, it speaks volumes and serves the photo exceptionally well. Very nice composition. 8.
