I wonder why your image had to be validated? It's a nice take on the Challenge, lovely colors and good seeing. Probably venetian blinds or house siding. Possibly a blue filter... It doesn't matter, it's terrific photography and an exciting visual as well. Good! (also: One of those rare incidences where the border works well with the picture. .. I'm not against borders, they just ought to work!) 9

Oh, these rust pictures are all so interesting and a great take on the Challenge. I expect you were trying for a really narrow depth of field shot, and if so you succeeded. But for me, it would have been fun to see more definition on those rust patterns. It's a good composition.

Enjoy your take on the challenge and it is quite nicely photographed. To give it a bit of excitement, perhaps you might consider introducing a contrasting shape or color somewhere on the image. (for example, I could see a nice but smallish bright blue blot on the absorbent paper) Nevertheless, its a good photo.

Yes, these guys really do have lots of bumps and patterns. Good seeing. It's alwlays tough on these closeups, but if you could work on getting even more depth of field, it would really make this image jump! Keep up the good work.
