Crossingsby OneSweetSinComment: I like your idea of "crossings" with the railroad sign and the people on the footbridge. The building in the background is a bit distracting. I wonder if there's another angle that would show this very nice idea without the building... Still, technically, it's very good. |

Bliss Rd.by ulydogComment: great find. It's tough to think of everything when you find a jewel like this and just know it fits the Challenge. I wonder if there was another angle where you might have gotten rid of those black thingees to the right and that cable in the middle. The pond with ducks and the sign are perfect. |

You've Got a Lot of Work Aheadby thewritersideComment: I really like the brightness of the road sign against the rather dull background. It does seem to me that there might be too much background for this small sign. I wonder what it would look like if you concentrated on the sign and the torn up road. But maybe that angle wasn't possible. Good luck. |

"nowhere"by real_ndnComment: Well, my goodness, that's not something to brag about, is it! Great find. The stop sign at the end of the bridge might be a candidate for the next one of these challenges. I like the low-key approach you took to this composition. |

...Just in Timeby tommyd65Comment: This absolutely meets the challenge, and the visual impact of the angle plus close up is good. Good luck in the Challenge. |

Walking on the Skyby ferojedaComment: This is almost surreal in quality, especially with the background figures echoing the big sign. My first impression (for what it's worth) when I saw this image was: Hey, he's walking on piano keys! Anyhow, it's good seeing and a nice image - maybe a bit overexposed at the bottom, but still, fun. |

CHANGING LANESby SDWComment: this is an interesting, moody picture. You show off the arches well. If it was mine, I'd probably try cropping to get rid of that 1/2 sign to the right and maybe crop a little tighter at the top to just include the train - losing the wires and rays. It just seems to me the story is in the arches, train and sign. But you captured a fine image under difficult conditions. |

ONLY | ONLY | ONLY | ONLY | ONLYby BradComment: Hmmmm, I think I know this intersection... No, just one like it. The sign is great, and it took good seeing (and a handy place to park) to get it. Probably the topography was too difficult to get the sign and the road, rather than the sign and the building, but you might also consider getting low and isolating the sign against that beautiful blue sky. Still, it's a good image and looks as if you had fun getting it. |

Welcome to Stouffvilleby ColeyComment: This is a very funny image and nicely composed. It's a bit lacking in punch, perhaps because it may be a bit overexposed. When I get in this kind of situation, I tend to bracket my shots. Anyhow, this is a good find andgave me a chuckle.
