Because you've taken the colors into another plane, I'm enjoying the experimentation.

The only thing that I would look at is that forwardmost petal that is a different color/hue than the rest. If it was mine, I'd like to see it 'match' the others.

Ummm, yes. I agree with inamo. If it was mine, I might crop off the top black part and maybe just a tad off the right side to concentrate on those really interesting patterns and colors of the unusual flowers.

That flower garden must be a riot of color with all that's going on. Always a joy to see.

Ummm, yes, the soft-focus overall cast to this is just gorgeous. The rose stands out and makes the scene peaceful as does the writing. It does have a rich and velvety feel.

Now, (ahem) if it was mine, I'd change those vertical stripes to a muted color, perhaps contrasting, rather than white. You see, the white makes me want to push the stripes aside to get at the image, but if the stripes were integrated more into the composition (IMO of course) the viewer would relate.

Okay, all this and 5¢ might get you an aspirin; it sure won't get a cup of coffee.
