Always amazing how something splendid happens so frequently when this method is used - even on an image that doesn't seem to qualify for such treatment.

I very much like these iterations. They remind me much of Appalachian weavings. You can see examples in any book by Mary Meigs Atwater. The one I picked out of my own library is The shuttle craft book of American Hand-Weaving.
