I really like this image a lot, but there is something about the beads that throws it off a bit off. They almost seem like they compete too much against those amazing blue eyes - the beads almost seem illustrated rather than part of the image. I hope I explained that right! Ièm still giving this an 8, nice job!

I have been so busy lately - haven't been able to spend much time entering challenges or commenting. Decided to take a quick look through these challenge entries as thumbnails because I really wanted to enter, but ran out of time. Anyways, on to the comment.....this image really grabbed my attention, because of the light, the body language of the subject, the warm tones. Some may argue this is not a silhouette, but it fits my interpretation. I think this is a fantastic image. Great job.

This makes me think of a recent yoga class where the instructor reminded us that to retain our independence when we get "old", we need to put in the effort now. This scene really drives that point home. Great work again sir!
