I had this much much higher and was one of your 8's, Ammie. Maybe it's not all about the LIGHT in the sense of being light . . . but it's ALL about the light in the sense of existing only because of what light there is. I agree - the words and arrows add enormously to this one.
As for buses or busses, the second is an alternate form but archaic and now considered a misspelling by most (according to sources too numerous to mention). I'm with you on the pronunciation, though, Wendy . . . all I can offer is that it's for the same reason we don't rhyme "though" and "rough" . . . no rhyme nor reason, that's just English :)
