Decided to try to comment on my middle of the road votes this time. Though the focus is where I think it should be, on the head and antennae, I would like a little deeper depth of field. I think others will think that a green background is not enough - doesn't bother me in terms of meeting the challenge, though. I do find the colors a little gray - bland.

Decided to try to comment on my middle of the road votes this time. Excellent detail except at the point of origin of the veins. I wish you had green in the upper left corner or had cropped the top off. I'm also not crazy abut the whitish area in the lower left.

Good subject even if I detest them :) Plant stem especially looks over sharpened - maybe just the light. I find the bits intruding in lower right corner and bottom to left of center distracting and would probably have cropped them out.

Decided to try to comment on my middle of the road votes this time. Love the lines and the softness suits the graceful curves. I wish the highlight area was not so blown. Title made me smile - way to make the blemishes work for you and I even see a mustache.
