Red and green are very eye-catching, but here the red overpowers the green subject. I find the leaf tip in the upper left distracting.

Decided to try to comment on my middle of the road votes this time. I would have liked better focus on the subject and a softer background so it would stand out better. The softer background may have been impossible given the distance between the background leaves and cluster, but getting excellent focus on the nearest "berry" would have helped a lot.

Decided to try to comment on my middle of the road votes this time. The detail on the caterpillar and stem he is on is excellent and he's really pretty. The white flares are distracting and the one behind him is especially unfortunately placed.

Decided to try to comment on my middle of the road votes this time. Nice detail on the wings, especially where they are against the lighter areas. The body is too dark for me - would like to be able to make out detail there. I do find the flowers at the bottom of the frame distracting, but don't see what you could do about them in basic.

Decided to try to comment on my middle of the road votes this time. Though the focus is where I think it should be, on the head and antennae, I would like a little deeper depth of field. I think others will think that a green background is not enough - doesn't bother me in terms of meeting the challenge, though. I do find the colors a little gray - bland.

Decided to try to comment on my middle of the road votes this time. Excellent detail except at the point of origin of the veins. I wish you had green in the upper left corner or had cropped the top off. I'm also not crazy abut the whitish area in the lower left.
