Not Even a Breezeby LydiaComment: The single, hanging seed adds a lot to this delicate macro as does the title which emphasizes the feeling of stillness that goes with the silence here. Voted earlier. |

The Emotion of Peace by JudiComment: Nothing says silence quite as well as simplicity - this should do very well. It's lovely. Voted earlier. |

Silent and Forgottenby DsealeComment: Nothing quite as sad as a doll that has lost its child. No more giggles or soothing coos. Voted earlier. |

Resting Placeby PenelopeKComment: My favorite of the cemetery only images - richly colored and stately. I like the formal feel to this place that is emphasized by your perspective. Voted earlier. |

A Carmelite Nun - A Vow of Silenceby ColeyComment: Just bumped this earlier tonight. It's a great idea and may be a real portrait but it feels staged so I resisted quite awhile. Top five because it's a lovely portrait and fits the challenge so well. Voted earlier. |

A moment of silence for the ones we love.by jurcacristinaComment: Lots of cemetery images in the theme - appropriately as they are silent in more than one way. But this was the most poignant, not only because of the inclusion of the woman but especially because of her pose and expression. I can sense her silent ache. Top five for me. Voted earlier. |

The Calm After The Stormby KonadorComment: The light, color and lines are beautiful but it's the drop that does it. You could hear it drop. Top five for me. Voted earlier. |
