Terrific perspective and composition with them all coming in from the corners as they do. I would replace the sky as I find the smudgy gray and blue areas distracting - white or almost whould do it for me.

It is pretty red and bright but I actually like it well enough - except for the sky which I would replace with a solid color. That would get rid of the halos and dark areas which just look dirty and you could lose the power lines as well at the same time. Now take the red down just a hair if you want, and I'll get you'll really like it. Such a pretty, inviting little house and patio. As [user]mitalpo[/user] says, it's that time of day :)

So sorry I didn't get back to bump that one more time or to comment - I'm on vacation and a laptop so time and viewing speed and image quality (on this monitor) all conspired to keep me from doing a last run through. This was my stand-alone favorite, however, and I gave it a 9 my first time through which I almost never do. Thanks so much for the notes and congrats on a fine result - the image itself, not the finish in the challenge :)

A very fine composite with splendid details featured - I must ask whether you added the dove to the middle pane (from another part of the building, of course). I'm thinking so and I think it is a nice touch. 7 from me - maybe should have been higher. Congratulations on a nice finish.

I'm on vacation with little time for commenting but I just had to tell you this was one of my very vfew 10's - wonderfully done and presented. I love the variety of shapes and lines and the cohensive look of the whole (esp tones). Congratulations on the top ten.

I gave this a 6 and should have bumped it, but I let the poor focus dissuade me from doing that. The emotion is so very real here. It should have finished much higher.
