Terrific idea for the challenge - clearly a composite yet the overlapping and the sepia tones unite the pieces in such a way that it all feels of a piece - like a reflection seen in a most unusual city display window. Great fun to explore and I hope it does well with the masses. I suspect it will at least resound with a narrow audience and that may be even better. Voted way earlier. 8

I would love to learn that you didn't need expert for this one - it certainly looks natural enough for this to be the case. The snow, on the ground and falling, adds just the right touch of "emotion" to this quiet scene. Voted way earlier. 8

Crop of Wind Turbines

I like the tones and the expanse here, probably because the scene is so familiar to me and I find a beauty in the coexistence of these enormous turbines and the endless farmland that surrounds them that many do not. Not sure about the focus - part of me wants a deeper dof or else a more clearly "misty" mood. Sky is grainy in a way that does not look intentional and there's a sensor spot that ought to have been removed. Still, I do like the feel and it's a top pick from me. Voted earlier. 7

My top pick. These soldiers would have loved this LOL Really, the processing is perfect for the period look and the bicycle adds an intriguing touch that for me keeps this group portrait from being too static. Love the context added by the setting, too. Voted way earlier. 10
