they are beautiful, 23 metres across the opening to get some scale.

i made 30 origami paper boats and stuck candles in them and tried to sail them down it on a long exposure for the candles challenge, there were a few problems i had to launch them from the bank on the right, which is about a 3 metres deep and the wond just blew them back at me :) plus it a reservoir and there are all kind of terrorist legislation about putting stuff in it :)
they roar with a deafening thunder when the are in flood, very loud and scary
