I would have cropped a smidge more off the top, just enough to get rid of the slight appearance of the next feature.
Otherwise I really like this photo.
edit - Sorry, I see if you do that crop, the trim on the door might be in a awkward spot. That's a tough call on that one.

Superb light/shadow play. Love the textures of the stone and wood. Has a lot of elements of interest to enjoy exploring. My rational sequential personality loves the precision of the squared vertical and horizontal lines. This is meaningful perspective to me and fine photography. |

I really enjoy the shapes, lines, and textures of this kind of detail shot. The diagonal of hinge, mailbox, and handle is great and enhanced by the light catching the handle and top of the hinge. |
