I have definitely realized the pros to shooting in RAW. This was shot in JPEG, now, I only shoot in RAW (as of about 6 months ago). So all my previous pictures are all JPEG.

I liked it this way, where he is upside down... just the way it was shot. Everyone in the family who has this picture (except me) has hung it the opposite way, so he's looking the right way, rather than upside down. LOL.

It's hanging on my wall this way... thought it was unique.

White balance does seem a little off... however, I disagree with the other comments... I think that with the shavings being the only thing in focus, it makes for a very interesting picture.

Then again, I like "different" pictures...

If the white balance was there, it is an image I could see hanging in my children's room. Honestly. Good work.

I'm not one to really critique others photos (and also haven't uploaded mine at all), however, you've asked...

While this is a nice shot, I feel that the yellow may be a bit overpowering.

Perhaps some veteran DPC users will be of more help?
