This was another one I almost chose. Glad I didn't now, because this shot is FAR superior to what I would have produced. I love it. The woodgrain detail, the sharpness of the overall photo. The focal point. It works perfectly together. Great job

Gorgeous shot. I'm always a fan of landscapes, and the mist/fog in this one is wonderful. The colors of the sunset (or sunrise?) are beautiful. The darkness contrasts perfectly. Love it!

Bun in the Oven

Not too huge on the lighting... the right side of the face looks odd, the eye especially. I would have liked to have seen a fill light to soften the shadow, or eliminate completely.
I like the idea, and it took me a minute to see that the oven door is actually open and she's looking into the oven. It's a great idea, but the lighting threw it off for me.

In all seriousness. This is an interesting shot. Would have liked to have seen the fishbowl a little lighter (or more prominent)... but other than that, I love the idea and the image. Nice colors. Good shot.

I can see it... it's whimsical (most fitting word I could think of). Love the black and white. The movement of the shot is beautiful. The viewer sees more and more things the longer they look. It almost looks like remnants of a person in the top right of the photo... which make the picture that much more fitting. LOVE IT!

That's an awesome reflection here! The red and blue lights in the back of the picture are where my attention was drawn first (so I think that actually takes away from the picture) but then I noticed the rest of the picture. Beautifully done. It's a nice shot

Up the Creek

Love this shot. The earth tone colors, the DOF, the extra sharp appearance. Wonderful job. Also, the glimpse of the creek is one of the things that really stand out, making the picture that much better. Without it, "up the creek" wouldn't have been AS fitting. But it's a perfect euphemism for this shot. Beautiful! 9
