soon I will be with you again....by danieletagliabueComment: Originally, my eyes focused on the brightly colored cross in the middle of the photo, afterwards, I noticed the woman. I think perhaps if the focal point (or even coloring) was more on the woman, rather than that particular subject (the cross in the middle), it would have made for a better photo, but that's just my opinion.
The fact that all the tombstones are asymmetrical and off balance makes for a nice effect. There is a decent DOF in the photo. And the title is well done.
Overall, a good photo, but *I* feel with a few adjustments, it could have been even better. |

WHYby GilesComment: This is such a sad and emotional shot. The title emphasizes that fact. The lighting is perfectly executed. It's almost like he's unwanted, locked in a basement. The expression on his face is great... the stance, the way he's holding the teddy bear (?). It's all perfectly done! 10 |

prisonerby tangueraComment: Lovely shot. The processing is amazing. I'm sure there will be people who think it's over done, but I think it works well with this particular image. Not sure what that is in the middle of the posts, but it does portray a feeling of loneliness, especially given the title. |

Forgottenby deebyComment: The softness to this picture adds to the quality. Love the building that is almost falling over... it's definitely "forgotten". Fits the challenge perfectly! Love the colors, the lighting, the pp. Wonderful job! |

alone in the crowdby oldbimmercoupeComment: Can be interpreted different ways. is she alone because no one is with her? is she alone because she is amongst a crowd of mostly caucasian people?
Then, when you look at her face... it's telling a story. It makes you wonder what she's thinking about.
Great real life capture! Nice DOF. The lighting is a bit harsh, but direct sunlight has that effect. |

Lonely Moonby epescalaComment: Almost did the same thing for the challenge, but in the end, I was completely unhappy with my moon shots. I still haven't mastered these types of shots.
Great portrayal of loneliness.
Nice position as well... |

Going Nowhereby LydiaComment: A lonely shot. A starving musician, perhaps? Feeling like giving up on his music because no one "gets him".
That's the message I receive... that he's ready to leave, to give up... but he's contemplating it.
A little sharper detail on the model, and it would have been perfect. It seems that the right side of the track/rail is more in focus than the actual subject of the photograph.
Overall, very well done! 9 |

Ending the Lonelinessby MarkBComment: Sad, sad message.
Great lighting for this shot. Anything brighter and it would have been too much... the darkness portrays just that... darkness.
Love the hand... even though it looks almost amputated... it is a nice set up. Looks realistic.
Executed nicely. |

Wish U Were Hereby wwjdwithcaComment: A very sad message conveyed.
Lovely catch and set up. The little boy's head is a little OOF. But a great "real life" capture. |
