I like the concept you have, but I don't think it was pulled off completely. I do like the set up, the podiums are a great touch, but this appears to be less of a color-on-color shot than was portrayed (in my opinion).

Stretching towards the sun

A little off, in my opinion. The position of the flowers doesn't seem natural, the colors seem over saturated, or something, not exactly sure.
Also, the bright yellow background is a bit too bright. Just my thoughts on the shot.

I don't think this is the color on color the challenge called for. The brown on red on blue are a little much. The lighting looks harsh, and the focus doesn't appear to be on any one subject.

I love this shot. The peelings, the color, the lighting. The fact that it doesn't appear to be over processed. Everything about this shot is wonderful! One of my top picks, for sure.

The Collection

This reminds me of when my husband and I went to an old Route 66 museum in Oklahoma. I loved it there, we had so much fun.
The only complaints I have is that the image looks somewhat distorted and the exposure seems to be a little dark. Also, the lights in the ceiling are somewhat distracting, perhaps cloning them out would have enhanced the shot. Still, I give this a 7

Love the crop of this, to make the wooden bookcase the only thing within the frame, actually creating a border with it. Very well done. The colors are nice, the detail is perfect. Good light. Very well shot and composed.

Lets make some noise

Lovely guitars. Nice angle. Perhaps a different arrangement would have made this more appealing? Or a clean background, such as a black backdrop? The blinds and other guitars and stuff in the top left and bottom right corners are distracting to the shot. It takes away from the main subject.
Also looks like it could be a little sharper to improve overall quality.
These are just my opinions, so take them however you'd like.
I really do like the idea you've had, I just think with a few differences, it could have really stood out. Nice shot overall!
