Mountain and Skyby LadyKComment: Oh wow! This is just wonderful. I am a total sucker for landscape shots. Excellent exposure and composition. I would really like to see this one with a little bit of the top cropped a bit making the part where the land meets the lake on the bottom thirds line. I feel that would make it stronger visually as the sky seems to dominate in this shot. Wonderfully done! |

Orchid Blooms in a Mirrorby chaliceComment: At first it was hard to tell there was a mirror. It's a good shot, but seems there seems to be something that really pulls the viewer in. Technically sound shot overall. Maybe higher dynamic range could have helped with a variance of lights and darks created by a single, strong light source. |

There are two ways of spreading light: to be the candle or the mirror that reflects itby LuvLiveSmileComment: It's a neat little setup, I like how the green candle lines up right to have the flame in the mirror. What's difficult here is the lightning. It looked like your camera picked a higher sensitivity or ISO due to less available light, that's where all the chroma and luminance noise come from giving it that more snapshotish look. Try have one strong, dominant light source, you'd be amazed at the difference it can make. Hope that helps! |

White Vanby jaysvetteComment: I probably wouldn't have noticed the white van if it weren't for the title. There is a lot going on in the picture which makes it hard for the eye to settle on something. The shot is technically sound though, great exposure and clarity. Good luck and happy shooting! |

Shells on the mirrorby XaomenaComment: That is one clean mirror.I like the 3 composition and the lighting, the black and white in color is pretty neat. |

Five or Ten?by ti_evomComment: If there's a mirror there then that is one clean mirror! Great DOF. The crop to me seems a bit tight and and a bit high. Other than that I like it. Good luck! |

Self Portrait - 'scuse me while I touch the skyby millsaComment: Cool shot, I really like it. The only thing is that the background grass and dirt seems to try to compete for attention, though I do like the green mixed with the blue. Anyhow, I like it and good luck! |

Come flyby heavenlyComment: Cool perspective. You may not have gotten a lot of this but I actually enjoy the little bit of noise in this shot, gives it more character. The border was distracting for me on this one. Happy shooting and good luck! |

Sunday Driveby bj0920Comment: Shots like this you need to be a little careful with. I liked how you showed the edge of the mirror to show that it is a car mirror. The focus is not quite there though. Correct exposure, but it's hard because there is nothing really grabbing the viewer. There also seems to be a bit of pixelation from cropping? Keep shooting! |
