Very imaginative image. But without the title, I wouldn't know what this had to do with pain, it looks like a plasma light otherwise.

Kitty looks more whimsical than in pain, but not a bad pic of a cat.

Good composition, good use of natural light. The pain of loss is easily felt. I think I might have cropped n a bit closer on the subject. The background is a bit cluttered.

The body language of your subject is not that of someone in pain, It's more likely, he would be trying to withdraw from the world and curled up in a ball. good photo technique

The painful part is to first admit you have a problem.

I don't know about painful, but certainly embarassing. A faster exposure might have helped, but I think the motion blur really expresses the pain better.

I'm not sure this photo really has much to do with pain, but I like it. The wreaths on the graves are signs of not being forgotten. The snow seems like a pristine white blanket that can cover up the pain and loss of a loved one. Good composition and the colors are great. I see you didn't fall into the blue colorcast with snowy background trap. 8

Pain? Out of breath maybe, but you can't tell from this photo if it's due to effort or for some other reason. Take in more context, perhaps the winner celebrating in the next lane or across the pool.

Now that looks like someone in pain. I like the contrast of lighting on her face and the darkness of the background. I'd like a little more story in the picture though, what causes such pain for one so young and pretty?
