Is that any painted on? That is really cool. Also I can't quite tell what the shape inside the window is - maybe a man's back, lit by a bright yellow light inside there?

Those shapes are just plain cool. Wondering what they were caused by.

I like the overall feel and the war between softness and sharpness, but something about the composition to me seems a little too busy. This scene is beautiful, so if you go back another night and if you could get closer to that wall of rocks in the foreground I'm sure you could come away with something even better.

Turbulence

The title you've given it fits well, the pose of the bird implies turbulence as well as the waters below. Still, the water being as in-focus as it is makes for a pretty busy background which I'm not super crazy about, and I think a crop to remove a bit from the top and the bottom would have looked better.

Had to google the name - I suppose if he turned his vision onto an architectural subject he might tend to cover it with uniform, sterile white dots instead of the organic blobs and gradients that cover his close-up, warts-and-all human portraits.

I'll have to check back and see how this effect was achieved.

I would have composed to include less sky and more buildings - that's the subject and where all the visual drama is happening. Had there been a dramatic sunrise, this composition would make sense, but I don't think having nearly half of the photo be of a hazy sky helps it any.
Still, I do like all the variety of shapes and colors in the skyscrapers and the monotonous yellow sprawl in the background.

The tones and detail in the wood floors and the walls near the arches look good, but I think a better composition might have been available for the scene. A lot of this photo is in shadow, and the parts in shadow don't add much the photo.

Looks like a nice scene, but I don't think this was the best angle to shoot the entertainers from, and at the least the tree on the left could have been cropped out.
