Perplexedby glad2badadComment: I really like this. One of my favorites, it's so simple but it's art. |

surrenderby mefnjComment: Good processing for the most part, but I think the subject really gets lost against the lake with the color shirt he's wearing. |

That lookby Yo_SpiffComment: I like this. Bold colors, strong striking shapes and excellent composition. I like that the men are just out-of-focus enough - you've done an excellent job bringing three dimensions of a street scene into two with something very visually pleasing. |

...beyond reach and fearby IreneMComment: These patterns are very pretty, but it seems like some digital zoom or bad processing has done away with most of your detail here. |

Rememberingby herfotomanComment: It's tough to see what's going on here; what the photo is of and what the idea is.
Visually speaking, I'm not crazy about it. I don't find the tones very appealing, and I don't 'get' it. |

The Thistle o’ Scotlandby EnlightenedComment: Nicely lit and composed, and I like the processing for the most part but might have done without the diagonal noise-like patterns. The overall feel is good, as are the tones. |

Mulberryby whiteroomComment: I don't care for this one. The scene doesn't lend itself well enough to this lo-fi treatment in my opinion - strong shapes and patterns, usually on a large scale relative to the frame - that don't depend on detail being kept in the image work a lot better.
This is a photo that would depend on details to be effective. |

Sentriesby jimmyn4Comment: The bold shapes vs. the fluffy clouds are a good contrast, but my favorite part of the photo is the left half. I don't know if you had the time to wait until some of the 'sentries' flew over and landed on that more barren tree, but if you had done and somehow composed to have the clouds behind that tree I think it would have improved this.
The other tree just has too much going on with the chopped-off wide branches and the moss and vines hanging from it, and also the leaves on the lower half. The one on the left is beautifully simple. |

U N H U M A Nby Art RoflmaoComment: The dog is well framed between the posts, and the rest of the photo has just enough going on to make the whole thing work. |

Thought balloonby lei_73Comment: I like the overall atmosphere in this one, and the sharp but surrealistic vibe the girl and the bottom section of the photo have going on. I also like how the balloon string is interrupted by the light, like it's been burnt and it's about to fly away. |
