You've probably received heaps of comments about the tilt - I'm in the 'too much' category, sorry. Otherwise, this is a sharp, technically well done image. I think I'd've preferred portrait orientation with no tilt, but I've never seen the original shot, so wouldn't even know if this was possible.

Wow. Just wow. Focus perfect where it needs to be, soft where it needs to be. Wing movement enough to suggest movement without being blurred to non-existence. Excellently applied vignette. My one critique is that I can see black & green horizontal lines, but only to the bottom right of the bird. One of my top scorers so far.

Interesting choice of processing. Not to my tastes personally as to me, this seems overprocessed, but to each their own. With a retro/grunge border I can see this on an arty greeting card.

This shot is obviously about the birds and the man feeding them, but I became so interested in the location - trying to work out what it is (a sandy beach up against a retaining wall?) that I stopped seeing it as a 'bird' image. The conversion to b&w works well I think.

Wow, I respect you purely for attempting a shot like this! However, I feel the focus is on the feeder instead of the bird, and the feeder takes up too much of the frame. Maybe a tighter crop? There's no way I'd ever have the patience to try this.

Love those outspread wings. Not sure, but maybe I would have tried a much tighter crop? to remove most of the background (distracting) foliage.

Composition is good, with all elements placed well within the shot. Soft focus and the tones applied work well for this shot. But I have to say, I personally think the vignette is too obvious/hard and maybe would have worked better a different (dark) colour?
