Yep, this is definitely a picture of a fence! I like what you did with the juxtaposition of 'subjects'; I think that for the dpc crowd you missed the brief on this one, which in my mind was to make the fence (a somewhat mundane object) the star of the shot.

I do like this shot. The dof and focus is excellent. The scarf looks like it should have been ironed and imo this detracts from the image. The lighting is well done too - I love that it provides a sculptural element without being overpowering.

I just freaking LOVE this! The detail is unreal. Any chance you could show the originals so I can understand where your focus points were and how much the rest was oof? I'm getting really interested in focus stacking and stuff along those lines but I still have no idea how to do it effectively. Did I mention I really like this shot? Congrats on the more than well deserved ribbon too. :D

Well, I am somewhat astonished. I fully expected this to finish much, much higher. I simply love the suggestion within. This, for me, required no title and it was such a nice surprise to find when I read the title, it fully supported the suggestion.
