A Pure Scent

This is very pretty. Love the crop. The flower is beautiful and I love way the petals are slowly opening with the center still tightly closed. I gave this an 8. Probably would have given it a 9 but there seems to be quite a bit of yellow in the shadows of the petals. Nice job.

I think this is such a cool shot. I love the bottle in the background. Obviously a ladies perfect bottle. The look of the bottle is perfect for this. I love how you've focused the attention on the 'man' leaving 'her' blurred in the background. It's almost like 'she' is courting him or something. I dunno, maybe I'm reading more into than you had intended, but I love this! The only thing I see a little off with this is the aftershave bottle. It looks tilted when you compare it to the verticle border on the right. Very minor, though. I gave this a 9!

I really like this shot. The yellow-gold color is warm and gives this image of french perfume (or french named at least) a nice feeling. I like the gold leaves for added detail. I'm not sure what that is in the upper left (I see this has been validated). It sort of looks cool but I keep dwelling on it because I can't figure out what it is or why it's there - it's really distracting me because of that. It was obviously added for a reason and I'll try to remember to check back after the contest to see exactly what you did! Nice job on this. I gave this a 9.

Such a simple photo but a strong photo. You took an everyday item and made an image that could easily be used in advertising. I wish everyone could do this. (I'm tired of snapshots!) I love the use of black in this shot. The purple and orange work well together as well as the border. The only thing I'm disappointed about is the heavy blur on the 'a' and 'p' but I don't think there was much you could do to prevent that. Super shot. I gave this a 9.
