Serpentallicby chinkenminComment: The low angle certainly emphasizes the strength and size of the framework. Great shot. |

Tribute: Thomas Alva Edisonby re2stComment: You photographed the bulb nicely - I imagine it took some experimentation to get the exposure right - but I have to say I find the subject mundane. I think the composition would be better if it were cropped square, giving the same amount of black on all sides of the bulb. |

When guns were wooden...by kinksComment: The gun isn't wooden; it's clearly iron. The frame is wooden. A nice composition - glad you resisted the urge to include the whole wheel. It makes a better shot with part of it cut off. |

Would YOU mess with this one?by rmahanComment: Nope. Nice shot - great pose, nice detail, good placement for the composition. I only wish he didn't have that dark shadow across his eyes. |

strengthby amazoneeaComment: Yes, the power of plants to find a niche in apparently solid rock is amazing. I think this needs more DOF to show the inhospitable background and the leafy stems. |

Atlasby thebone123Comment: Nice shot of the statue. A closer vantage point and steeper upward angle might have emphasized the sense of power more. And IMHO a tall, narrow crop would also emphasize the strength represented by this statue. |

The Power of Joyby JadeComment: A different and creative interpretation of the challenge. A beautiful smile of joy and a nice choice of setting. My only criticism would be some apparent wide-angle distortion on the face. |
