Vogue, 1969by JutildaComment: Such a great self portrait. You've got that great hollywood feel; but you, the artist, being the subject; you're just staring right at the viewer; right through the viewer. Youv'e got all that skin showing and you cut it off just as low as you can; this is interesting, quirky, and probably could have placed a bit higher. |

ortakoy camiiby sevilduvarciComment: I love this shot; so nice and burned; the sky, water, buildings; the mood; the euro-asian feel. Yoyu can smell the coffee; feel the grit; the boat on the right gives it a touristy feel; but its still really nice. |

Chrissie and Mayanaby emorgan49Comment: This is just one of those photos that is so unique that you cannot compare it to anything. Thats a small girl. Thats a huge pig. This is candid and well done and really is a slice of life that is truly uniquely portrayed. |

No Night Life in Our Townby emorgan49Comment: I love clear nights shots; this is expertly done; perhaps my only criticism would be that there is not a wonderful ambience created by the cut off sign and the angle is a touch extreme. Otherwise, terrific idea. |

she is the oneby renefunkComment: A camera in a photograph to me, Is like seeing the edges of a set in a movie; it sticks out. Now, don't get me wrong; this is a terrific photo of a photographer; as beautiful as Minnie Driver overlooking Galway bay with her hair back and skirt on for maximum trouble traversing rocky beach. Still pretty nice; |

early morning shutterbuggedby KemptonreporterComment: Fog is a great photographic technique; I love the platform/dock and the railing. such great perspective. This looks just like the view off the docks here is lake-heavy Connecticut, USA.
Perhaps the composition would be improved by cropping out the reflecive bright green tree on the left- or perhaps cloning it out. Nice shot though. |

Fossilby bucketComment: sometimes the background becomes the detail; in these shots the true photographer emerges. when you shoot a certain person or solitary subject; the persona or spirit of the subject is the main focus, despite the hubris of the photographer, who, unlike the painter, has a difficult time portraying the subject in a "artist driven light" for lack of a better term; here, you have used the background as a "mental wallpaper" We see the artist in the photographer, and to me thats what the challenge should be about, not some focal subject, it shouild be about the lines; hence, you were robbed. |
