why not, edith? we got time before the kids get home...by SkipComment: This kind of make me a bit queasy. Humor far exceeds any other advertisement for a photo. I dig the honesty within the faces of the people on the screen. As a candid realness perhaps better expressed as reality, which shows through the exposure, composition, and textures in this photo. And as the old saying goes-it's like riding a bike- you have to get right back on and not worry about skinning your knee. |

"Shoulda made a Left at Albuquerque..."by tfarrell23Comment: Excellent humor in this photo, perhaps you need to be of the Bugs Bunnie generation to get this one. Perhaps the only thing that doesn't work is the ass end of the Thunderbird in the photo. The kind of looks like an old west shot until you put the element in there and once it is in there your mind starts looking at the car which is in focus. I can appreciate the fantastic sky and the luck of the mule/donkey. Perhaps after the challenges done you can go back and removed the wires in the sky with Photoshop and, also, remove the car out of the photo. I would love to see that. |

Why my Heart Beatsby wavelengthComment: The first thing that comes to mind here is the honesty associated with the photo here, although there is a blatant attempt at an artsy look within the photo context, there is certainly no overt attempt to use makeup or neat image to give a glamorous look to the shot. Because of the eye and nose in lips you understand that the photographer, via the title, is certainly in love with This person and feeling and the heart shows through with this photograph. in that sense, it's one of the best photos in this challenge. |

Why ..... doesn't he love me?by pamelasueComment: Excellent command of space. You really know how to bring the eye into that yellow flower and then make VI switch to the upper right side of the photograph where there is a blurriness and I must admit because I do not know what that blurriness is that I find it a little disconcerting and it takes away from the message of the photo. Perhaps it is my own idiosyncrasies which do not let me figure out what that is-a garden hose-a pot? You certainlywill score well no doubt and rightly so. |

Empty trash can full of trashby SnapperJohnComment: There are a lot of good aspects in his photograph but there generally ruined by lack of the true focal point to which the viewer can hang her hat on. Perhaps the best aspect of the photo is that awesome tree in the background. That's really the saving grace in this one. |

Why Did I Agree To This?by klbensonskComment: Nice bright colors in this photo. Excellent placement the raft as it comes down the river. Such a feeling of excitement and movement-brilliant use of color against Granite-like sandy water. And finally, the blurry rocks in the background actually add to the nice smooth texture in juxtapose quite well against the colorful raft and the washy river. Best of luck with his photograph. |

Gardening Attire?by JuliBocComment: I think the photo is really nice. You have really great bunch of elements here-the overgrowing weeds, the sundress, the inappropriate heels which make for excellent title, and the only part is somewhat questionable as the upper right-hand to the photo at which we are left staring at hair and grass and no true focal point. I think that you will score really well at this photo because of the nice collars and placement of the body. As the l best of luck to you. |

... because I can't quit!by Nikolai1024Comment: Nice candid. It truly is a nasty habit you have depicted it so well on a screen that it gives a sort of nobility to smoking. I am quite certain that he did not intend this however is a great photo and I wish you the best in this challenge. |

Why am i rejected?by zaflaboutComment: Excellent pin like projections of masts in the background. Great placement with in the photo. Unlike the fact that they are not too high up in the photo. The tenancy would have been to go with conventional thought and age-old wisdom by keeping a top horizontal line on the one third mark on the photo. But you challenged convention quite well and ended up with an absolutely fantastic photograph. |
