Under the Boardwalkby onesaintComment: I really like the gradient fade to grey look you have going on here, its really killer when mixed with the fact that everything is desaturated but the board boat. I can feel the wet sand- and smell the sea. |

XXIVby bucketComment: Excellent shot; I mean there are a lot of people on this site who can take a creative and excellent portrait, but the subject has a blank or wrong expression. In this shot- you prove that all is not lost- you coaxed a terrific expression and fantastically knowledgeable and intriguing look out of your model. |

Picture 485.jpgby JeepGirl04Comment: great shot! In a perfect world, there would be no power lines or scraggly half dead trees. These could be removed, as well. The sumac leaves are so lush as to look like flowers. The saturation is pulled back, and the placement of the smokestack is nice. I like how your shots have the feel of the beginining of a journey, an invitation to take the welcome leaves-strewn path. Nice work. |

Picture 476.jpgby JeepGirl04Comment: This has a real solace to it; a great placement of the bench, and then you look up and see, its security fence; nice contrast. And in the background the figure, presumably someone with two children, is a nice secondary interest point; I like the white birch too; perhaps you ps the foreground colors to pop a bit more in contrast to the long retreat into infinity. Penciled Inby heavyjComment: this shows that you graphically have a boatload of talent; an eye, attention to detail> I also really think you have a great compositional style of filling the frame to the prverbial-eighties valley girl max; step back and expand; see the peace in negative space. I ahve added you to my favorite list. |

A century's worth of stormby TechoComment: I really like the composition. the blacks could be a bit blacker- or maybe its my computer. The angle is great, but what is best about this shot is how you managed to impart that crusted sand on wood feeling of the jetty. What texture. excellent shot. |

Skyline, 2005by pawdrixComment: Super great; techical, cool values to the shot; no warmth needed; This is NY; live at night; other cities appear to sleep or take a breather in the night skyline shots; your city lives. |
