 The hook end of a 3M cable clip.


I thought it looked somewhat like a plastic sperm, hence the title and what I thought was a suitable background. The background is the back of a clay angel. I was looking for a pattern that was suggestive of a something a little upstream that it was heading for. Had to watch the DOF carefully on this one, as either too blurred or too sharp ruined the background for it. Wish I'd gotten a little more light on the object, but it was almost touching my lens, so much of the light was blocked. One problem I had was that the texture of this plastic hook when viewed close up gives the appearance of high ISO noise. Not good.

Anticipated critiques:
-Foreground object too dark
-Too soft or OOF in places, needed more DOF.

A metal yard ornament or banister (something with the sun shining behind it).
I like this one.... nothing quite in focus but almost. Scrumtious colors.
