Being a musician, I like the focal point of the Barre chord. The blurred foreground and the tinted singer in the background set up the shot nicely. THe girls in the crowd, the beer bottle and the woodgrain guitar are nice details. Also. the light fixture, which oddly looks a lot like a living room fixture, looks like a planet in that black and blue "night sky" of a background.

People put up flashy sunsets and things in the free study and best of challenges, but its shots like these that make it interesting.

-I like where you are going with the gritty, obscured black and whites. You have a way of being able to convey a clarity of message even if the screen is dirty or dripped, or the sensor is dirty or dusty, as you noted on a previous entry. Great stuff.
When I heard the title it reminded me of a song by Son Volt- "Route" the lyrics being-

Standing in the neutral zone
Living on sleep deprivation
The rural route sleeps while the city bleeds all over itself
Over the falls in a barrel is where the answers have gone
And it's now or never, too close to the latter
We're all living proof that nothing lasts
And it's here for now, transient tomorrow
