"Lone Leaf"by goinskiingComment: not the feeling or spirit of "alone" but one hell of a nice photo. (minus 2 for category inappropriateness) |

The Waveby bobgaitherComment: spectacular not so lonely, perhaps a bit of cropping would be justified. Nice sea color on the crest- you do all digital photographer's proud with that. |

MEXICAN LONELINESSby euskadiComment: This is a great portrait, sincere, well lit, interesting and expressive. Very nice. But what the hell is with the title? are you serious? Mexican Loneliness? what's next "canadian sleepines" or "nigerian anger"? minus two points for the name... |

private jokeby shutterflyComment: great sharpness in this photo- and I love the sloping grass- I really think that adds to the movement created by the tire swing poised to go down-- but my one criticism is that the subject (child) appears a bit close to the foreground to truly convey the "aloneness" that you are seeking. |

My Matrixby oskarComment: Fantastic. Nice green color juxtaposed with black gives the light/dark feel of a fine Pollock painting. |

Growth and Innovationby alexvoloComment: Train tracks, displayed vertically in the frame. A metaphor for man's climbing the figurative ladder illustrating the indutrial rise to a heightened civilization. or... just a pretty damn well composed, exposed, and displayed black and white. |
