and now we see through a glass darklyby NeatComment: Hope to come back with a proper comment for this great image. For now, bump to 10
Goodness, it took me a whole night to repeat over and over again the title and try to find the continuation. Yes, of course, and here it is:
1 Corinthians 13:12
12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
and of course you so marvelously continued in your image: " but when I became a man, I put away childish things".
Hard to look now at the other images since you elevated the subject so much.
A favorite |

serpentsby jmritzComment: I like this image very much and appreciate a lot the blur here.
My cerebral mind would have preferred probably the arrows to be sharper but It's your creation and a very good one.

the dog's not going to walk herselfby posthumousComment: I did not look at this challenge before rollover but got stuck now trying to help this little dog. Do you realize that in spite of the clever and refreshing application of the droste effect each dog seems to have a different expression? suspicious, befuddled, pitiful and angry
This picture got a posthumously awarded 9 |

c o v e n a n tby Bear_MusicComment: I did not look at this challenge before rollover but now, as I just came back from an art gallery tour, this image strikes me as extremely painterly. I love the hesitating posture of the man. As you locked the sides of the image, there is no way out for him!
Great picture. |

Boy's Lifeby vawendyComment: Did not vote in this challenge, did not even look at the pictures before rollover, but I did stop at this image now. It is mighty real and engrossing; the boys fixed gaze, the fanning of his hands and its spidery look makes a very interesting image. I agree with Brennan's suggestion but I would not go for a realistic approach. A hint of shadow will do.
Would have given 8. |

connectingby tvsometimeComment: That's a great story. In the same vein as Antonioni's film "Blow Out".
There is a thick plot here, there is this story of a man with a suitcase that seemed so much part of the street life that only a shrewd eye could have detected his ambivalence.
Did not vote on this challenge, did not even look at the pics before rollover- I would have given a 9 for there is some muddiness that, although in line with the story, is detrimental to the quality of the picture. |

recursion with inversion by BrennanOBComment: Excellent labyrinthian image.
My mind went directly to Robert Altman, for more reasons than the physical likeness; probably for the plot involved or for the precise care of the director for the smallest details.
Did not look at the challenge pics or vote but I would have given this image the highest mark. |
