Thank you Roz. Must say that one seldom sees a more compassionate countenance as this one that you captured in a horse.
There is so much feel in this picture that made me think of a French drama, a Robert Bresson movie "Au hasard Balthazar", one of a greatest films of all times. But, as it's based upon a Dostoyevsky's novels, it's not for the faint of the heart.
Your image has a lot of hope, a true stunning photograph.

The departing of the procession is leaving smoke and questions for the viewers. A powerful image.
I imagine this is in Taiwan where a multitude of religions coexist; could it be a ritual in taoism? I've seen somewhere images similar to your second picture but I do not recall the details.
