holding handsby clictacameraComment: Sweet, a little leopard Gecko! Very nice pets, I loved them when we had them at the pet store I used to work at.
But alas, this shot, as I'm sure you've heard needs some work. The flash is overkill on the lighting aspect and the set up needs lots more work. PUtting the gecko on a more solid backdrop, cloth or something similar, a color that would really bring out their colors and avoid the direct flash if possible. A full length shot would also be great, I love their fat little tails :) A 4 |

Jacobby dvsdetroitComment: Jacob is adorable from what I can see. The problem with shooting black animals and this I know so well, is getting the details. It is sooooooo hard. The focus is also off adn the pictures and cord running through the shot are very distracting. A 4 |

Can we go for a walk now..please?by bucketComment: Aw, such a sweet face! Nice candid snapshot but not really the portrait type per say. Good expression on the dog's face, nice capture but the items on the left seem very distracting and fighting for my attention. A tighter crop would really bring to dog to the viewer's attention. Puss in Booksby kevrobertsonComment: Ha, I love the tag on the collar. Very cute. A nice shot but the lack of overall sharpness or focus bothers me and the conversion to black and white leaves the cat blending into the background instead of standing out from it. A 4 |

Ok, but I do my own post processing!by Art RoflmaoComment: Very cute, very cute indeed. Looking at the shot on the monitor I'm guessing you went for humor instead of portraiture. :) The lighting seems very dull and the composition seems a bit loose, too many things fighting for my attention when it should be centered on the dog. And the border does nothing for this shot but overpower it and make the lighting seem even duller. A 4 |

Eagerby ZoomdakComment: Great capture, hope he caught it after all that work! Nice snapshot but not really a portrait and while the eyes have a great expression, the ball ends up being more a distraction then really adding to the shot for me. The blur on his body is expected in an action shot like this but the mouth threw me just a bit. If it all could have been in focus (the face area that is) this would be a great addition to your scrapbook of memories. A 4 |

Expensive Petsby risu81Comment: Ah, yes they are, so very expensive. Nice capture of the pack running but not really a portrait shot, more action and the size, while okay on one side really scrunches up the other side, which I'm sure you've been hearing about all week.
The grass seems a bit saturated to me for some reason. A 4 |

Sleeping... so adorable!by MatthewComment: Not quite sure what is sleeping. My first instinct says snake but I'm just not positive. I'm guessing s apecial type of snake considering the 2 years I worked in a pet store I never ran across this type before, LOL :)
Thel ights on the ehad are very distracting, though the overall shot is well done. Also the red hue on the mouth area is very distracting, is is normally red? A 4 |

"Look ! ... My Duck had a Baby !!"by tfarrell23Comment: Let's see, rubber duck as a pet......... hummmmmmmmmmm, really stretching! A very nice portrait mind you but still stretching it as I'm sure you've heard or will hear a million times.
Not a bad shot overall but the white seems a bit dull to me (yes my monitor is calibrated), almost has a pink hue to it and no, I'm not wearing a pink or red shirt (I'm teasing you because I figure if you entered this you must have a great sense of humor) :)
A 4, sorry |

Eukanuba!?.... You Crack Me Up!by MackFlixComment: Ha, cute. But not really a portrait shot, more a candid moment. Also the picture lacks any real pop factor, the colors look really flat and dull, unlike the dog I'm sure! An adjustment in levels and/or curves might really help make this shot stand out more. A 4 |
