A lovely shot overall, very well balanced and the reflection in the water is fantastic! Originally this did not sit right with me, can't exactly explain why but coming back and looking again I think it was the shadowing on the right side that threw me off. But upon looking at it closer, it works well, showing the day in progress. Good clarity and focus, captures the essence of the challenge very well. Raising the score much higher on this one.

I originally score this on the lower end because it was too bright and glared out at me. Upon second examination I still find the sky area of the shot distracting and a bit over powering. I like the idea of fall the the colorful leaves showing the change of seasons but the cropping could have been tighter to or even brought the shot down more so you had more buildings and less sky.

A very nice shot, almost a postcard view! But as far as meeting the challenge I don't really get a sense of urban from this shot. It's more upscale to me. More resort than urban I guess. The colors are nice, not overstated and the cropping is great, just enough balance to really look good, though the sharpness could be bumped up just a notch or so.

I like the concept you were going for here, the idea of nature taking back what is hers. The building offers a rather futuristic ideal to the shot, makin gone think that you were looking ahead, the only inconsistincy is that the building is still so new looking, if it was a bit grungier or aged I think I could score much higher on this shot.

I like the way the walkway draws you into the picture but as far as meeting the challenge I find it wanting. The curves with the straight lines works well and judging from the visible sky I'm guessing it was a relatively clear day but the sun must have been behind a cloud when you took this because the sky and the brightness of the picture itself don't seem to quite mesh.

This shot originally scored very low for me when I first went through the shots. The negative space and the coloration just didn't appeal to me. After taking a second look and seeing the slight differation in colors and the muting, I do like it more but there is still too much sky to the landscape for my taste and for what I feel the challenge was asking for. The score will go up but only a couple of points.

I had to look at this one twice to realize that this was a docking area, LOL! At first glance I thought it was a flooded alley way bu then realized the doors were still above water. I like the sense it conveys, very urban, busy in the background and calm in the front. Originally I scored low on this one but am raising my score quite a bit, the picture didn't really grab me at first but I do like the cropping and the tree on the left helps draw your attention to all the corners.

This originally score very low with me after just glancing and going with gut instinct. Upon a second look, a closer look I tried to figure out what it was that made me start so low. Then I realized that it was the disjointed reflections that threw me for a loop. But now that I've taken time to really look at it, I like the effect. Was that storm coming or going?

I think i fyou had panned more to the right and gotten more of the other building being reflected on the right into the shot I would have felt it really met the challange more, don't know why, just get that feeling.

Great shot upon a second look, score is going way up on this one for me.

A great meeting of the challenge, too bad those spotlights are aiming at you, it's very distracting from the rest of the picture, draws too much away from the castle itself. And the clarity is slightly lacking, if it was just a tad sharper I would have scored much higher.

Great shot overall, love the coloring, the shape of the clouds, the cropping but you don't really get a sense of urban with this shot, no buildings, just a street lamp that is out of focus and a very minimal part of the picture.
