It took me three times looking at this to get the message, DUH! :)

I'm getting that the shadow person is an older woman who dreams of getting her figure of young back? Nice dream, wish I could have it too! :)

If the shadow as slightly more defined and you could actually see the figure of the woman compared to the figure of the negligee it would have had more impact for me.

Nice smoke effect but honestly, the white masks have lost all their fear factor in my house and the woman's face, while trying to look frightened doesn't quite pull it off. Maybe if there were more face to face, a side view and she was in full scream mode I would have score higher on this.

Good nightmare for most people, good concept. As for the photo itself, well, the editing that happened afterwards ruined it for me. If it wasn't quite so surreal I probably would have scored this much higher and if you could really see the fear on the person's face.

Monster under my bed

It took me a moment to really try to see what you were going for then i saw the bed post, actually almost got lost on my view. The monster is too flat to be a really frightening thing, if you had a doll or some other way to make just eyes appear from under the bed it would have conveyed a much larger sense of fear to me.

Nice capture of the electricity, making one think it's souls in the making. The reflection is also clear enough to make out, yet dream like enough to make me say, "Is he really there?" The soft focus was a great touch.

This is a wonderful night shot, the colors are wonderfully muted but don't really convey a sense of torment to me. It really seems more serene and calm.

I waited to come back to this one until I got my monitor adjusted because before it was very dark and forbidding and the concept wasn't really being conveyed to me. After coming back I can see more of what you were going for and agree that this is a nightmare in the making. The only thing that could have made this shot better for me was more emphasis on the person and the window and not quite a much darkness to the left and bottom. The shaft of light coming in the bottom is a nice touch.

At first I thought this was an arial shot from space, the intensity of the colors is amazing! The sun playing off the water is wonderful but it makes me wonder, is this supposed to be a dream or a nightmare, for many it could go either way, nice capture! The only thing that gets to me is the dark line across the top, that is where I feel the nightmare element starts to come into play, what is waiting in the dark?

A Living Nightmare

I feel this shot would have been more effective in it's original form, the actual spider, as close and real as possible is a very frightening thing to me, when put in this media it loses it's fear factor and doesn't capture my attention as well.
