reflecting on the urban horizonby timboydwhiteComment: I've come back to this shot so many times to try to figure out what about it that throws me so. I love the reflection of the sun peaking through the clouds and the tower on the left is a great way to draw you in some more but I think it's the lines of the shades inside that I find a bit too distracting and the coloring also throws me just a bit. |

River City at Duskby sleekrComment: The darkness of the shot leaves me a bit cold, heck it looks cold there! ;) But the dark patch on the lower left is very distracting and keeps taking me out of the shot, if the cropping was slightly different and you had played with the hues just a tad? |

Budapest by night...by zanerComment: The lack of clarity in the shot leave me wanting more. I love the colors, the dark yellows and gold and the reflections in the river and the dark forbidding sky really adds to the shot. |

Blue Gridby mjf99Comment: I have looked at this shot about 8 times trying to figure it out. I'm guessing it's a reflection in a mirrored building, the angles and such are very disorienting. I love the colors and the golden lines (office lights on?) are a nice way to break the shot. |

London Landmarksby photocellComment: Is that BIG BEN waaaaaaaaaaaay in the background? ;) Having never been to London and not having a clue which is which besided Big Ben the shot itself is very compelling. The jagged horizon from the different buildings has you looking all over the picture trying to capture the small details. The shadow on the lower left is a bit distracting to m but I'm guessing you wanted the church {?} on the left included in the shot. And if you didn't have the buildings on the right to balance the shot it would have really left me wanting. |

soon-to-be urban landscapeby cvt_Comment: The light and contrasts on this one are not quite there for me. The coloring you choose makes it blend just a tad too much to me. I like the concept and the framing, focus could be just a tad sharper. |

Churchby ShannonComment: The soft focus on this is a bit distracting and I think it would have worked much better in color, I would love to see the color version, are the trees turning yet? The composition is good, though the large tree on the right is slightly distracting. |

Farmer's Elevatorby natorComment: Country urban, I like it. The balance is good, not quite centered, helps draw me in. The lighting does throw me off a bit on the dark side of the building, maybe it's the direction you took the shot from that is throwing me. The shadow across the front on the lower side of the building draws you attention down and out of the photo for me. |

Between Lincoln and Holland Tunnelby yeamg4Comment: The coloring on this shot is a bit dark for me, maybe if the brightness and hues were played with just a touch? I love the sun behind the lamp post, very dramatic, would score much higher if the coloring was more defined. |

Top of the roofsby gstrotmannComment: The coloring on this photo, I think would have worked better in black and white instead of sepia. The title makes you look for the rooftops but they are not a prominant part of the picture overall, the tower to the left is excellent balance but seems just a bit grainy, which actually works in this shot. |
