Emerging Orange Poppy

What beautiful colors and the DOF is wonderful! The detail is fantastic and the top of the poppy gently resting, waiting for it to tip it off, very nice capture. The lighting works very well with this shot, any brighter and the orange would have been too bright. It meets the challenge and this will be the 9th 10 I've given in this challenge so far, well done.

Okay, unless my monitor is way off, this is a lemon or grapefruit? Because it's coming up yellow and if it's a lemon or grapefruit, isn't your title a little "off" :) Don't you mean sour exposure? :) As for the shot, I love it, the yellow on the blue is a wonderful contrast of primary colors and the cropping, the fuit part way out of the shot is very well done. It does seems just a tad bright to me but it might just be the yellow coloring that's causing that effect. I'm starting this one at an 8 but I will be back.

This is a great concept, exposing the orange and I love the way you peeled it, very inventive! The only thing is the color of the orange, it seems a bit dark to me. The lighting is wonderful the shadow on the right is very apeeling, :) I'm giving this one an 8 for now but I'll be back.

This is an amazing shot, the lines, the use of space, the lighting, the concept. I have looked at this picture over and over again and it just keeps screaming 10! to me! Well done!

running girl exposed

Nice stop action on the girl compared to the motion feel of the flowers. I like the idea that she might have just popped up and started running but the cropping of the shot seems just off to me, if the girl was more to the right maybe? Also the colors seem a tad off. Starting with a 7 on this one

Orange Exposed

What a wonderful idea for the challenge. The lighting, the colors are excellent, just the right amount of shadow on the orange. If the entire shot could have been sharper this would have received a 10 right off the bat, going to start with an 8 and I'll be back.

Ah, the lovely green pepper, chopped many of these when I worked in a Subway. I really like the concept but the lighting leaves me a bit cold per say. The top and upper side just seems a bit too dark to go with the rest of the shot. Starting with a 7 on this one because the clarity and color of the rest of the shot make up for the light ;)

And he does have the, "BUSTED" look in his eyes, LOL! Nice shot, excellent colors but there has been something about this shot that just doesn't sit right, I can't put my finger on it, I've come back to it about 4 times so far and I"ll be back again to see if I can figure it out. Starting you with an 8 until I figure out what it is that doesn't quite sit right for me.

More exposed film! But just like the harddrive they have all been done differently and each stand on their own, sorta, your's is kinda leaning ;) About the shot, I like the idea, the clarity is wonderful andthe lighting is fantastic. My only gripe per say is the cropping, the film getting cut off on the right is a bit off to me but at the same time it helps you because the canister brings you into the shot and the film takes you out. Starting with a 9 on this shot

Travel diary, lost en route

Did you really find this or was it set up? Either way, this can be taken two ways to me, either the diary being exposed to others because it was lost (but travel diaries are usually pretty mudane) or it being exposed to the elements, much like it's owner might have been.

The shot is balanced very well to me, not centering the diary really works with this shot and at first I would say it's a tad dark but when it's raining it really is a bit dark isn't it? Very well done, good idea, good exposure overall. A 9 for you, may be back to bump it up before I'm done.
