I love this concept that you were going for, the sun being exposed through the trees but to be honest the filter you used to create the prism effect really hurt the shot to me. While the colors are very pretty it washes out the rest of the shot to me and make the center of attention, the sun a distraction instead of an attraction. I'm starting this one at a 4 but I will be back to study it more.

Yummmmmmmmmm! This looks sooooooooo good and I cannot wait to see the receipe for this one. I love stuff like this. The food is perfectly shot, the silver tray really adds to the presentation but the table cloth then detracts, I know it's a Fall pear and you were probably going for a theme but I think a darker cloth would have made this a 10 for me and it still might be before I'm done but for now, a 9!

I love coffee bean shots, I can't explain why but when they are done well I just love them and the really odd part is that I don't even drink coffee! LOL! Tis is a wonderful shot, the DOF ( I originally had DOG, LOL) is perfect, the cropping is wonderful, this is a 10 if I ever saw one. Hope you have some special spices to add to this so I can try them on my husband!

antipasta salad

I love this stuff, especially with bow-tie pasta in it. The only think I don't like about this salad is that it always looks dirty and I want to clean it, LOL! This is a wonderful shot, great colors, you can see everything involved and the dressing on the right and left look like tye are suspended. The only thing that gets me is the stray peice of cheese and meat at the bottom, I know nit picky but they keep calling my attention away from the rest of this delicious salad! A 9 from me :)

My mouth is watering, I love Apple Crisp! This is a wonderful shot, the light reflecting off the side of the apple, the clarity, the color, just wonderful. The only thing that gets me is the purple and gree handle that is crossing the bottom right corner. You get a 9 from me.

One of these days I'm going to have to try Sushi, just not quite brave enough yet, LOL! This is a wonderful shot, the colors, the lighting, the refelction on the place. The only thing is the flowers on the plate are not overpowering but just slightly distracting and the chop sticks, for some reason they keep trying to pull me up out of the shot. A 9 from me

I'm not quite sure if I get the connection to the challenge on this one, I'm thinking she's being exposed in the window in hopes of finding a new mommy to take her home? If so, very original! If not, could you please let me know?

As for the shot, nice cropping, the lighting is good and the colors are very nice. The dull, washed out paint on the sill compaired to the brightness of the canister in the window. I'm starting this one at an 8

How pretty! What kind of flower is that? Having the two of them side by side with a coupld of pods is very well thought out but the balance seems off a bit. Almost like you could cut the shot in half and you probably could have and still gotten your point across with the partially opened one and pod on the right. The colors are wonderful but the light seems just a tad harsh. Starting this one with a 7
