How long is a piece of string?by robsmithComment: Not very long with that tiny little ball! The white on white is okay on this shot, a bit blown out on the right, perhaps if you had string coming in from one side and leading out the other with the ball in the middle, filling the middle of the screen it would convey the message more? Midwest Field Cornby scrum8Comment: The dream like quality on this shot leaves me wanting more clarity. I know when you are in the middle of a cornfield it seems endless but shooting on the outside shows me an ending. The cropping or setting of this shot was well done overall, drawing you in on the left and taking you out on the right. A 4 |

Anyway, the idea is there in that molecules are infinte and never ending but this really doesn't gel with that idea for me. Beyond the windsby gavinsComment: A different idea for still life. The shot's DOF is a bit backwards to me, if there were more focus on the bird and less on the leaves this would work so much better. The light is dark and there isn't anything that really holds my attention in this. a 4 |
