So this guy is a doctor of dreams (which is mispelled)? What works here is that the shot was taken at night, when most of us tend to do the majority of our dreaming. Other than that, I dunno. As a picture itself, it's a nice clean focused shot with a very curous expression on the subject's face that adds a little something to it all.

there is a purpose to this shot but I'm not getting it. For my taste, it is too dark & grainy. It looks like the man in the picture is holding a flask light but I don't get why or what it has to do with the book title you used.

I like the idea here but the foreground stuff, especially the light poles, way too distracting. I od however like the evergreens in silhouette. But the golden sky seems anything but silent or maybe it is the silouetted subjects that are supposed to be silent, in which case it works.

hmmm.... I'm trying to connect the dots but am a little slow today. It's a nice but disturbing shot, not sure if that was what you were aiming for. Did you add some grain to it? It seems as if you did or maybe it is noise. Either way, it makes for a nice effect.

not sure what to make of this shot. There's a lot going on. The hair-covered face, the fur collar... and then the pearl earring. Maybe a macro shot of the earring might have been slightly better or if the face was not covered. Dunno. just my opinion. I like the diea behind it and it does meet the challenge very well

did you also mean for us to interpret the water to be purple? It seems to me that the sky should be the focus, I could be wrong, but if so, why not fill the frame with it instead of the ship & water? B/c the sky looks so dramatic is exudes coming turmoil much like the book.
